Once again, Valley will partner with ACTC and their partner churches to provide school supplies to families in need of some assistance. The event will be held on Saturday, August 17th, from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., but we need help beforehand collecting, sorting and displaying supplies and setting up for the event. We also need help the day of the event, "shopping" with the families attending.
Last year we collectively served 115 families/236 children in addition to sending extra supplies to inner-city schools and local schools that participate in the "Food for Thought" program.
