Jim Gilbert

Jim lives out the scripture verses found in Matthew 25: 34-40. "...When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?" The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.

Jim's international mission experiences began after his retirement 17 years ago. Instead of rest and golf, God called Jim to participate in 19 international mission trips and work as a chaplain in the Baltimore jail system.

Mission Trips

For the last two years Valley has sent volunteers to New Orleans and Mississippi to provide help and support for those affected by hurricane Katrina.
